INTERNET SAFETY, ANTI-BULLYING POSTER

You and your partner will create a poster in Excel using an idea you recorded from the video presentation. To make it attractive and unique and "catchy":


1. Look at images that would work for the topic and decide what message you could send using that image.


2. Decide on the message and then find an image that matches.


3. Check out this Ad Slogan site or this one or this one or this one or this one or this one or this one or search for one.  You may be able to choose a familiar/popular slogan for your message (Even a caveman ..., You're in good hands ..., 15 minutes ....).


4.  Choose a TV or video game or movie/rock star.  What is something that person says all the time?  How would that person talk to kids?  (BART:  "Eat my shorts", "Cowabunga!")


* Anything you use of someone else's from the Internet... you MUST create a small text box on the bottom of your poster where you'll paste the URL.

ASSIGNMENT #6: Digital Image Manipulation

EACH ONE OF THESE ASKS YOU TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT.  CHOOSE 2-4 DIFFERENT PROJECTS!

1.1.  Disproportionate - change the scale of one image (object, people, insect) on a background image

2.2.  Untruthful – Add something to the background that wasn’t there (you at the Eiffel Tower)

3.3.  Who’s in School – place a famous person or cartoon character in school

4.4.  Where am I? – place a photo of you or a friend (with permission) on an unexpected background

1.   FIRST, use Paint.net to put your photo on another image.  SAVE AS .JPG
2.   Using XP Publisher, create a flyer/poster to advertise the important information about the dance. 
3.   Insert -->  Picture -->  From File
4.   Done?  SPELL CHECK!
5.   Get permission before printing.

GETTING THIS TO YOUR BLOG:

*    Scribd will not accept an XP Publisher document!

1.   Print preview -->  PrintScreen -->  Paste in Word -->  Crop -->  Expand -->  Save
2.   Upload at Scribd and get embed code to paste in blog post.
